There is no specific distance that we travel. We have traveled 2 hours away before and will travel further. The first 20 miles are free and there is $50 fee plus .89 cents per mile within 100 miles (round trip). Fees for further distance will need to be quoted.
Yes! We are licensed and insured. We do require that renters sign a contract and liability waiver agreement that ensures that all rules and safety precautions are followed. The renter is responsible for ensuring that adults remain with children for supervision during the rental period and that all rules are followed as outlined in the agreement. We can provide proof of insurance for parks or venues if needed.
All package rentals are 3-4 hours of equipment rental. Additional hours may be added if available for $50/hr
Packages can me extended or condensed in size depended on the space. Gates are optional.
At the moment our equipment and soft play areas are intended for children ages 6 & under. This gives the opportunity for little ones to be able to explore and enjoy a safe play environment.
As soon as you have a venue booked or location address. Booking early ensures your spot as we only book on a first come first serve basis and have events that have been booked for September, October and November since March. We receive inquires daily and send out contracts weekly so if you receive a contract be sure to sign it and pay your reservation fee as soon as possible as we can only service 2 events a day depending on the packages and location and cannot guarantee your contract date will still be valid.
We do not set up in rain or near water. Please ensure that there is no water play near our soft play equipment and that you have a backup indoor location for the equipment to be relocated to in case of rain or inclement weather.
Strong winds can cause party setup to be cancelled and need to be setup indoors elsewhere or rescheduled for a later date. The equipment will not be sturdy, nor will items be safe to play upon if strong gusts of wind arise. It is in our best interest of the children to not risk their safety.
A flat, clean and dry surface that is free of debris, dirt or any sharp objects. Short grass, concrete or an indoor setup works best.
If you are unsure of the integrity of the space that you would like us to setup in, please do not hesitate to email us a picture at wecametoplaysoftplay@gmail.com. For venues that are not sure if they will allow a bounce house inside, please inform them that we can bring our smallest bouncer to the location to give an in person showcase or they can email us for measurements and photos.
If setting up outdoors the grass must be cut low, clean and dry. Moisture or animal droppings will ruin the integrity of our equipment. We will not walk in grass with animal droppings, nor will we walk through animals or insects (geese, bees, wasps etc;).
Natural or artificial shade is required for outdoor setup where the temperature will be above 85 for the safety of the children and equipment. The equipment can get very hot in the summer and fall months so please ensure that you have a canopy or shaded area.
Any park or outside events the renter needs to ensure that electricity is readily available depending on the package booked. Also, renter is responsible for We Came To Play Softplay being able to safely unload and deliver package setup. Please ensure that there is 2-3 close parking spots or unloading areas for our staff.
